Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a device for detecting, monitoring and/or controlling the height of a liquid level usable without bringing about a problem in a viscous liquid.
CONSTITUTION: An excess ink passing a channel in a doctor blade chamber 10 overflows in a reservoir 14. The ink output from a reservoir outlet 19 is subsequently fed through a conduit 26 and a flow limiter 16. A space 22 above the ink in the reservoir communicates with the atmosphere through a vent hole 20 and a vent tube 23. The tube 23 oriented above an upper end of the reservoir 14 can be used as a means for deciding whether the reservoir 14 is completely fully filled with the overflowed liquid or not.
