To provide a fluid jet loom having a planetary selvage device and a catch-cord opening device which meets high speed operations.
This fluid jet loom having the planetary selvage device and the catch-cord opening device which are supported on the anti-weft-inserting side of the loom is characterized in that: a driving shaft is disposed in a 1/2 rotation speed ratio of the main shaft of the loom is disposed; a rotation shaft is rotated by the driving shaft through a rotation transmission mechanism; swing levers are swung by the driving shaft through a movement converting mechanism; the rotation transmission mechanism has a first toothed rotation member fixed to the driving shaft in a position-changeable state in the axial direction, and a second toothed rotation member fixed to a rotation shaft formed in an identical tooth number, in a state that a connection phase of the rotation shaft to the driving shaft can be changed; and the movement converting mechanism has a rotation member which is a rotation member for swinging the swing levers and is fixed to the driving shaft independently of the first toothed rotation member in a state the position can be changed in the axial direction, wherein the connection phase of the swing levers to the driving shaft can be changed.
