To provide a fluid jetting type loom having a simple mechanism on the periphery of the loom end opposite to yarn feeding side and producible less expensively.

This fluid jetting type loom is provided with a weft cutting device a weft trapping device 20 and a turning mechanism. The weft cutting device has a fixed blade 12 and a movable blade 13 placed on the periphery of the loom end opposite to yarn feeding side; the weft trapping device 20 has a fixed piece 21 and movable piece 22 placed in the region including the yarn end reaching position on the side opposite to the yarn feeding side and extending in the direction perpendicular to the weft-inserting direction; and the driving mechanism has a single turning member turning the movable blade 13 and movable piece 22 which are linked to the turning member. The turning member is driven for turning so that the fixed piece 21 and the movable piece 22 are in a state where they are connected to each other over a specified length of time after the finish of weft insertion.
