Abstract:
To surely engage a locking element for a plate and also to facilitate replacement of the locking element.
In a locking device for the plate 17 on the outer peripheral surface 19 of a plate cylinder 18 of a printing mechanism of a rotary press, engagement or disengagement of the locking element 6 in a locking shaft 8 is conducted by a plurality of cylinders loaded with a fluid. The operating pressure of these cylinders can be regulated through the intermediary of one separate regulation cylinder 1.
