Abstract:
To provide a fluid machinery capable of stably cooling a motor to rotationally drive the propeller on a rear stage.SOLUTION: A fluid machinery comprises a shaft part, a shroud provided to surround the shaft part and having an inner circumferential surface to form a flow path forming surface bounding the flow path in which fluid can flow between the shroud and the shaft part, a first propeller provided rotatably in the flow path, a second propeller provided rotatably downstream of the first propeller in the flow path, a rotor fixed to the outer circumferential part of the second propeller and housed in the shroud, and a motor surrounding the rotor via a clearance and having a stator fixed in the shroud. The flow path forming surface reduces its diameter as the part downstream of the second propeller goes downstream. The shroud has an inlet flow channel opened to the part between the first propeller and the second propeller in the flow path forming surface and communicating with the clearance, and an outlet flow channel opened to the part spaced downstream from the second propeller in the flow path forming surface and communicating with the clearance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
