To provide a fluid treatment apparatus which can perform highly accurate stirring and moreover has a high productivity as well as simple structure.
The apparatus applies pressure to a fluid to be treated to introduce it from an introduction part, and also carries out stirring treatment of the fluid to be treated between both treating faces 1 and 2 using at least two treating faces of a first treating face 1 and a second treating face 2 disposed in a sealed fluid passage and constructing a part of the passage opposite mutually, and a contact surface pressure applying mechanism for pressurizing to bring both the treating faces 1 and 2 into contact each other. The fluid to be treated is introduced from a supply passage other than the introduction part opened on at least one treating face of the first treating face and the second treating face; the fluid to be treated is mutually pressurized to be brought into contact with or adjacent to the first treating face 1 and the second treating face 2 by the contact surface pressure applying mechanism, and the fluid to be treated is passed through between both the treating faces 1 and 2 while forming a fluid film between the first treating face 1 and the second treating face 2 by the rotation of one treating face, thereby carrying out desired stirring for both fluids to be treated.
