To provide a fluid spacer dispersion which is suitably used for a manufacturing method for a liquid crystal display device constituted by arranging spacers on a substrate by an ink jet system, and a liquid crystal display device using the fluid spacer dispersion.

Disclosed is a fluid spacer dispersion used for the manufacturing method for a liquid crystal display device having the spacers arranged at arbitrary positions on the substrate by the ink jet system, the fluid spacer dispersion which is characterized in that the fluid dispersion containing at least spacers and a medium contains a 10 to 80 wt.% liquid of ≤100°C in boiling point as the medium and 0.05 to 5 wt.% spacers.
