PURPOSE: To provide a fluid spray gun for stably spraying fluid without leakage for a long time, as for fluid guns in which opening and closing action of a valve is repeated at high speed and by which fluid, such as high pressure coating materials is sprayed, by preventing the occurrence of impulsive closing force of a valve mechanism.

CONSTITUTION: In a fluid spray gun in which a jetting hole 11 communicating with the seat surface of a valve seat 12 is closed by the advance of a needle 16 and the jetting hole 11 communicating with the seat surface of the valve seat 12 is opened by the retreat of the needle 16, by applying needle retreating force by a needle retreat mechanism to the needle 16, the needle 16 is retreated to open the jetting hole 11 communicating with the seat surface of the valve seat 12, and by releasing the needle retreating force by a needle retreating mechanism and also by applying the force of a compression spring installed between the needle retreating mechanism and the needle 16, the needle 16 is advanced to close the jetting hole 11 communicating with the seat surface of the valve seat 12.
