Title:
FLUIDIZED INCINERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5620914
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To protect an air dispersing means against corrosion and wear and to enable to discharge residue left after incineration smoothly to the outside, by laying granular inert substances having large grain sizes over the surface of an air dispersing plate.

CONSTITUTION: Waste introduced from waste inlet port 6 into the incinerator by means such as screw feeder 5 is made to flow toward fluidizingair supplying regions 8, 8' and 8" on air dispersing plate 1, together with fluidizing medium 15 which is imparted with swirl by the air supplied from swirling-air supplying port 7. While thus swirling in the combustion chamber, waste is burnt completely and efficiently by the aid of high-temperature fluidizing medium 15. Further, granular inert substances 14 such as sintered alumina and natural stone having larger grain sizes than fluidizing medium 15 are charged in the regions defind by the dispersing plate 1 and projections 13, so as to protect dispersing plate 1 against corrosion and wear.
