PURPOSE: To prevent the intensity difference between digits made remarkable as the number of digits is increased in a fluorescent character display panel mostly used for numeral display.

CONSTITUTION: A multi-digit fluorescent character display panel is provided with a grid, an anode, and a filament for each digit, resistors Ra1-Ran, Rg1-Rgn are connected in series to the grids G1-Gn and the anodes A1-An for individual digits respectively, the grid and anode connected to resistors for each digit are connected in series respectively, and the resistor values are set so that the DC potential difference between the grid and anode for each digit and the filament of the same digit is made equal for each digit.
