Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce power consumption so as to save power by providing a getter supporting body independently of an inner lead-in wire, and fixing a mercury getter to the getter supporting body.
CONSTITUTION: A getter supporting body 17 is supported to a slum 11 independently of an inner lead in wire 10 and a mercury getter 16 is fixed to the getter supporting body 17 by means of welding. Current flow through an electrode filament 9 is therefore able to heat the electrode filament 9 without loss; which should reduce power consumption so as to save power.
