Abstract:
PURPOSE: To store energy by providing an optical sensing circuit and controlling the quantity of light from a fluorescent lamp used for back irradiation according to the quantity of incident circumferential light.
CONSTITUTION: The optical sensing circuit 2 is connected to ballast means 13, 15, 17, 19, 25, 29, and 30 including an optical control circuit 27 which controls the irradiation of fluorescent lamps 21 and 23. The optical sensing circuit 2 has an optical sensor and an amplifier and generates a signal representing the intensity of light made incident on the optical sensor to reduce the back irradiation of the fluorescent lamps 21 and 23 as the circumferential light which enters the optical sensor decrease.
