To provide a fluorescent lamp having a structure capable of surely restraining the difference of composition of phosphor grain mixture between one end part and the other end part of a glass tube.
The fluorescent lamp is composed of the glass tube 11 and a phosphor grain layer 15 formed on an inner face of the glass tube 11, composed of phosphor grain mixture of blue light-emitting phosphor grains, red light-emitting phosphor grains, and green light-emitting phosphor grains. An average specific gravity of the blue light-emitting phosphor grain is 4.0±0.4, an average specific gravity of the red light-emitting phosphor grain is 4.0±0.4, an average specific gravity of the green light-emitting phosphor grain is 4.0±0.4, and a specific gravity of the phosphor grain mixture composing the phosphor grain layer is 4.0±0.4.
