To provide a fluorescent lamp lighting device capable of installing additionally a lamp easily while using the current lighting apparatus.
The fluorescent lamp lighting device 1 with connecting socket is constructed of a main body part 10, a lamp support part 20, and a ring-shape fluorescent lamp 30. A base 11 of incandescent lamp type which is screwed to a lamp holder of a socket provided at the outside is provided at the outside of one end of the main body part 10. A connecting socket 13 which has a lamp holder to be screwed to the base of a compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp or a fluorescent lamp lighting device with connecting socket to be connected to this fluorescent lighting device 1 with connecting socket is provided at the other end of the main body part 10 toward inside. By connecting a compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp or by connecting additionally one or more fluorescent lamp lighting devices 1 with connecting socket to the connecting socket 13, the illuminance of the lighting device can be easily increased.
