To provide a single-ended base fluorescent lamp of which waterproofing structure is formed simply and manufacturability is improved, and to provide a lighting fixture installed with this fluorescent lamp.

The fluorescent lamp 1 is equipped with an arc tube 2 having a bulb 6 which is formed bent so that a pair of straight tube parts 7, 7 may be in parallel, a base 3 made of resin which has a housing part 17 to house respectively both end parts 6a, 6a of the bulb 6 and contactors 15 arranged on the outer face 14b side, a thermo-setting adhesive 4 which is adhered to one portion between the end part 6a of the bulb 6 and the inner wall of the housing part 17 and fastens the end part 6a of the bulb 6 to the inner wall of the housing part 17, and an elastic rubber 5 which is arranged at the end part 6a of the bulb 6 on the connection part 8 side than the portion where the adhesive 4 is adhered so as to be closely adhered to the entire outer periphery and pressure contacts with the inner wall of the housing part 17.
