Title:
FLUORESCENT-LIGHT EMITTING TUBE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3769292
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent light-emitting tube such as a fluorescent display tube having a plurality of negative electrode filaments having the same thickness as each other and different lengths from each other, capable of adjusting the resistance values of the filaments by adjusting lengths (effective lengths of the filaments) of a part contributing to the electron emission without serially connecting the plurality of filaments.
SOLUTION: Both ends of the filaments F1 to F7 are fixed to a pair of cathode wiring metal layers 131, 132, and short-circuit parts 141 to 147 having lengths different from each other in accordance with the lengths of the filaments are formed at middle parts of the filaments F1 to F7. The resistance values of the respective filaments F1 to F7 are adjusted so as to become almost the same as each other by making the lengths of the parts contributing to the electron emission (the effective lengths of the filaments) of filaments F1 to F7 approximately the same as each other by adjusting the short-circuiting lengths of the short-circuit parts 141 to 147.
