Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graft copolymer that has highly balanced characteristics inherent to fluorine such as oil repellency and stain resistance and characteristics inherent to silicone such as slipperiness and exerts excellent performance in adhesion to a substrate and coating film strength, and to provide a coating agent using the graft copolymer.SOLUTION: The fluorine-based graft copolymer is produced by copolymerizing 5-60 mass% of (A) a vinyl monomer having a fluorine atom, 3-40 mass% of (B) a silicone-based macromonomer having a polymerizable functional group at one terminal, 10-90 mass% of (C) a (meth)acrylic macromonomer having a polymerizable functional group at one terminal, and 0-50 mass% of (D) other vinyl monomers. The coating agent includes the fluorine-based graft copolymer.
