Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:fluorine-containing aromatic compound having alkenyl groups and represented by formula I (R1 and R2 are allyl or propenyl; R3 and R4 are 2-15C fluoroalkyl or fluoroalkenyl; X is O, S, sulfonyl, carbonyl, lower alkylene, lower fluoroalkylene or phenylene; p is 0 or 1).
EXAMPLE: 2,2-Bis(3-allyl-4-(3,3,3,2,1,1-hexafluoropropyloxyphenyl) hexafluoropropane.
USE: Useful as an additive, etc., for a heat-resistant polybis maleimide, etc.
PREPARATION: A diphenol compound of formula II is reacted with a fluoroolefin in the presence of a base at 0-150°C to provide the compound of formula I. The fluoroalefin is used in a range of one equivalent to 1.5 equivalent based on the compound of formula II.
