The fluorine-containing polyether compound is produced by reacting a fluorine-containing dicarboxylic acid fluoride compound [II] (wherein l and m are each independently an integer of at least 10; and l+m is 30-200) with an aniline compound [III] (wherein R1 is hydrogen, 1-3C alkyl or phenyl group; R2 is hydrogen or a trimethylsilyl group; and X is bromine or iodine).
