Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a new fluorobenozthiazolyloxyacetoamide exerting a very good tolerance to crop plants and a strong activity against weeds.
CONSTITUTION: The objective compound of formula I, e.g. N-methyl-α-(4-fluoro- benzotiazoly-2-1-oxy)-acetoanilide is obtained by reacting a fluorobenzothiazole of the formula II (X is a halogen, an alkylsulfonyl) with a hydroxyacetoamide of formula III. In formula I, R1 is H, an alkyl, an alkenyl, an alkyny, an aralkyl; R2 is an alkyl, an alkenyl, an alkynyl, a cycloalkyl, a cycloalkyloxy, or R1 and R2 together with N to which they are bonded form a saturated or unsaturated nitrogen-heterocyclic ring which may contain another hetero atom and to which a benzo group may be condensed.
