Abstract:

NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I [Ar is (substituted) benzene ring or (substituted) naphthalene ring; the substituent is halogen, CN, NO2, alkyl, alkoxy, methylenedioxy or CF3; A is methylene or O; at least one of R1-R4 is F and the others are H; R5 is 3-7C alkyl; n is 0-12].

EXAMPLE: N-isobutyl-2Z,4E-2-fluoro-12-(3-trifluoromethylphenyloxy)dodecadienoic amide.

USE: An insecticidal miticide exhibiting extremely excellent effect against hemipterous, lepidepterous, dipterous, coleopterous and orthopterous vermin, cookroaches, ixodids and harmful mites.

PREPARATION: The compound of formula I can be produced by reacting an acid of formula II or its reactive derivative with an amine of formula R5-NH2.
