Abstract:

To prevent the upward warpage of a selvedge part caused by the difference in the modulus of elasticity and to enhance close bonding strength and releasability by bonding a hot-melt moldable fluoroplastic film free from pinholes to a base belt.

After surface tension increasing treatment is applied to the surface of a hot-melt moldable fluoroplastic film 5 free from pinholes, the treated film 5 is bonded to a base belt 1. The hot-melt moldable fluoroplastic film 5 free from pinholes is pref. composed of a tetrafluoroethylene/ perfluoropropylene copolymer or an ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer. The thickness of the fluoroplastic film 5 is pref. 12-100μm and it is pref. to add an ultraviolet absorber to the fluoroplastic film. In order to enhance the surface tension of the fluoroplastlc film 5 to at least 35 dyne, corona discharge treatment is pref. applied to the surface of the fluoroplastic film 5. As an adhesive, a polyurethane adhesive or a polyester adhesive is pref.
