Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluted plug made of a sintered hard alloy being a tool for plastic work exhibiting sliding characteristics such as low friction coefficient and excellent wear resistance and having excellent heat resistance and oxidation resistance and exhibiting high durability in the case of severe working called trough molding.
SOLUTION: The fluted plug made of the sintered hard alloy has a constitution in which a rigid carbon film is applied on a base material made of the sintered hard alloy through an anchor layer and a hydrogen content in the rigid carbon film is low. The constitution in which the second rigid film is applied under the anchor layer is included in this invention.
