Title:
FLUX-CORED WIRE FOR GAS SHIELD ARC WELDING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012192422
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a flux-cored wire for gas shield arc welding which is excellent in high temperature crack resistance for an initial pass of one-side joint welding, and welding workability such as slag detachability and metal drop resistance in an upward and standing position welding, and is excellent in mechanical performance of a weld metal.

The flux-cored wire for gas shield arc welding is characterized in that it contains, by mass% to the total mass of the wire, C:0.04-0.09%, Si: 0.3-0.6%, Mn: 2.5-3.1%, Al: 0.1-0.4%, Mg: 0.3-0.6%, TiO2: 5.1-6.5%, SiO2: 0.3-0.7%, ZrO2: 0.1-0.5%, Al2O3: 0.2-0.5%, Na2O and K2O in total : 0.10-0.25%, fluorine compounds in terms of F: 0.03-0.08%, and iron powders: 2.0-5.0%, and further contains a limited range of P: ≤0.015%, S: ≤0.010%, B: ≤0.0005%, Bi: ≤0.0005%, and iron oxide in terms of FeO: ≤0.09%.
