PURPOSE: To obtain a flying working equipment for realizing smooth flying welding even when a high-temp. thick steel is aimed in a high-speed line by instantly retracting and returning transporting rollers by movement of a simple cam plate which is provided on a traveling body on which a working device is mounted.
CONSTITUTION: The traveling body 2 on which the working device 1 is mounted is arranged so as to freely travel back and forth along the transporting direction of materials 5a, 5b to be transported straddling over a roller table 3. This traveling body 2 is made to forward travel together with the materials 5a, 5b to be transported which are transported on the roller table 3 and the materials 5a, 5b are flying-worked with the working device 1. The bottom surface of the tip 13e of the cam plate 13 runs on the depressing rollers 17 of cam levers 16 successively. The depressing rollers 17 are forcedly gradually lowered along the inclined surface 13t of the cam plate by its dead weight and, after the transporting rollers 14a-14j are successively retracted by holding them with the horizontal bottom surface 13f, solenoid valves are operated, the flow of oil is stopped and the transporting rollers 4a-4j are held in their positions.
