Abstract:
To interconnect a first flywheel and a second flywheel in a low revolution range by means of a simple constitution.
A flywheel assembly 1 comprises a first flywheel, a second flywheel 3, a damper mechanism, and a lever mechanism 7. The second flywheel 3 is disposed for free rotation relative to the first flywheel 2. The damper mechanism interconnects the first flywheel 2 and the second flywheel 3 in the rotating direction. The lever mechanism 7, while interconnecting the first flywheel 2 and the second flywheel 3 to be incapable of relative rotation, releases the interconnection by a centrifugal force wen the revolution speed exceeds a specified value.
