To provide a lever mechanism in a twin clutch in which a friction coefficient of the mechanism for controlling abrasion is stabilized.
A flywheel space assembly 7 is equipped with a spacer linkably fixed in axial direction between a flywheel 2 and a clutch cover 8 and with a lever mechanism 26. The mechanism 26, which comprises of a lever member 27 and an abrasion compensation mechanism 29, controls the axial displacement of an intermediate plate 11 in relation to axial displacement of a plate 10. The member 27 consists of an end 27b on the R2 side and an end 27a on the R1 side which can be brought to a meeting contact with the plate 10 from the side of flywheel 2 and an intermediate portion 27c in the middle of the end 27a on the R1 side and the end 27b on the R2 side which can be brought to a meeting contact with the plate 11 from the transmission side. In the mechanism 29, the end 27a on the R1 side is frictionally locked to the spacer 7f to allow axial movability, while the end 27a on the R1 side is made movable axially.
