Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a low-density foam high in closed cell ratio, beautiful in appearance and excellent in adhesiveness and coating performances.
SOLUTION: This foam composed of a modified polypropylene-based resin composition is obtained by compounding a polypropylene-based resin with at least one monomer selected from among an aromatic vinyl monomer, an isoprene monomer and 1,3-butadiene-based monomer, an unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer, a radical polymerization initiator and optionally a metal compound in a molten state.
