To provide a foamed heat insulation paper container exhibiting both softness and a low thermal conductivity to prevent heat of the contents from being transferred to the gripping fingers, and having good touching feel.SOLUTION: The foamed heat insulation paper container comprises, from its outside, a foamed resin layer comprising a thermoplastic resin, a barrel member assembled with a paper substrate layer and thermoplastic resin, and a bottom plate member, and has compression recovery of 55-90% and compressive energy of 0.10-0.95 N m/m.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
