Abstract:
To provide an inside air type foam maker to be used for a high expansion foam fire extinguisher, the foam maker having improved discharge speed of foam without enlarging the size of the whole foam maker.SOLUTION: A foam maker comprises: a cylindrical body 2; a form making mesh 3 covering an aperture at the body 2's one end in its axial direction; discharging nozzles 4 provided on the side of the body 2's other end in the axial direction to discharge a foaming agent toward the foam making mesh 3 through the inside of the body 2; a support rod 5 extending in the axial direction from the body 2's other end; and piping 6 that is supported by the support rod 5 and has an inside constituting a flow passage for the foaming agent. The piping 6 includes an annular part 6a formed in an annular shape where the plurality of discharging nozzles 4 are provided on the annular part 6a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
