Abstract:
To provide a foam sand production method capable of appropriately producing foam sand even when reclamation sand is used.SOLUTION: This foam sand production method is for producing foam sand by leaving mixed foam sand intact for a prescribed period and then newly pouring sand, water glass, water, and a surface active agent and mixing them after the foam sand has been left intact. The amount of water glass poured into the foam sand left intact is an amount obtained by subtracting the amount of water glass eluted from reclamation sand included in the foam sand left intact for the prescribed period from a prescribed amount determined on the basis of the newly poured sand.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
