To provide a foamed solid lubricant which can also be used at a place on which external stress such as compression or bending acts and where the employment of a solid lubricant has been difficult conventionally, and to provide a method for producing the same.
This foamed solid lubricant produced by foaming and curing a mixture of a lubricating component, a urethane prepolymer having isocyanate groups in the molecule, a curing agent, and a foaming agent is characterized in that the lubricating component is at least one lubricating component selected from lubricants and greases; the urethane prepolymer has an isocyanate group content of 2 wt.% to 6 wt%; the foaming agent is water; the lubricating component is contained in an amount of 30 to 70 wt.% based on the total amount of the mixture; and an open cell rate is 50% after foamed.
