Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam maker facilitating cleaning of a foaming mesh and check of the inside of the foam maker by simplifying the structure of the foaming mesh, simplifying the structure of entire facilities, and yet reducing the cost. SOLUTION: A foam maker 1 constituting a part of each of high-expansion foam fire-extinguishing devices installed at prescribed sections S1, S2, S3,and S4, includes: a flat plate-like foaming mesh 3 that is detachably or openably/closably attached to a cylindrical structure 2 having a flow path of air to be supplied to the prescribed sections S1, S2, S3, and S4; and an emission nozzle 4 disposed inside the cylindrical structure 2 for emitting a foaming agent toward the foaming mesh 3. The foaming mesh 3 is so attached as to cover a tip opening portion of a rising wall part 2b projecting outward or inward the cylindrical structure 2 from a peripheral edge of a lateral wall opening 2a formed at a lateral wall of the cylindrical structure 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1.
