Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate a focusing by inputting a picture to automatically focus to the object of the arbitrary place of a visual field. CONSTITUTION:The title device is composed of a picture storing means 31, a picture storing means 31, a part picture designating means 33, a part picture position storing means 34, a focus position evaluating means 35 and a control means 36. First, the partial picture to be focused by a user on an input picture is designated and the dispersion of the brightness of a partial picture is made maximum, for example, the position of the lens is adjusted. Thus, since the picture focused is inputted for the subject projected at the arbitrary part of the visual field, the focusing to the subject projected at the peripheral part of a light receiving surface is facilitated.
