To realize more accurate focusing by smaller power by spatially fixing an optical system and driving and displacing an image pickup means such as a CCD.

A lens barrel 5 holding the optical system 1 is integrally formed on an outside case 12 and spatially fixed in a product. A guide bar 7 guides the positional displacement of an image pickup means attaching member 6 holding a low-pass filter 2 and an imaging device 3 and adjusting the position thereof in a focusing direction. A feeding screw 9 is rotated by a stepping motor 8, and a member (rack or the like) 10 converts the movement of the screw 9 into the positional displacement in the focusing direction. A holding member 11 fixes and holds the bar 7 between a lens barrel 5 and the member 11. The rotation of the screw 9 by the actuator 8 is converted into the positional displacement in the focusing direction by the rack 10 in contact with the screw 9, and the rack 10 is coupled with the member 6, so that the member 6 is positionally adjusted in the focusing direction.
