To hold excellent performance over a long term with simple constitution.
The AF driving shaft 20 of a camera main body 40 at the tip part of which a projected line 20a is provided to project is energized leftward and pressed to the coupling gear 12 of a lens barrel 30 by a spring 21, so that the projected line 20a is engaged in the recessed groove part 12a of the gear 12. A switching shaft 7 inserted to freely slide in the center hole 12b of the gear 12 is engaged to move in an axial direction with the U-shaped folding part 6b of a switching lever 6, and the shaft 20 is pressed by the shaft 7 interlocked with the movement of the manual focus driving member of the lens barrel 30 in a rightward direction and moves rightward against the energizing force of the spring 21, whereby its coupling with the coupling gear 12 is cut to switch an AF mode to an MF mode.
