Abstract:
To provide a foil stamping machine for crimping a foil on a substrate that can improve crimp quality even under a changing condition.SOLUTION: A foil stamping machine 1 has one controller 8 for controlling temperature of a crimp bonding surface ASI into a prescribed desirable temperature. The controller receives from at lease one temperature sensor 13 at least real temperature TH_ACT of a hot plate 2 and provides at least one heater 7 with an operation variable u. The foil stamping machine further has one state monitoring device for evaluating real temperature of the crimp bonding surface ASI of at least one crimp plate 4 on the basis of at least one physical base analysis model of heat transmission between the hot plate and the crimp plate 4. The controller further has one feedback control device for calculating the operation variable u with respect to at least one heater 7 on the basis of the prescribed desirable temperature provided by the state monitoring device and the evaluated real temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
