Abstract:
To suppress generation of condensation in an upstream side of a heating member in a conveyance direction.SOLUTION: A foil transfer apparatus 1 is an apparatus that overlaps a sheet with a foil film containing a foil, conveys the sheet to diagonally downward, and transfers the foil onto the sheet. The foil transfer apparatus 1 includes a heating roller 61, a pressure roller 51, an upper frame 80, and a fan FA. The heating roller 61 is a member for heating the foil film and the sheet. The pressure roller 51 is a member for nipping the foil film and the sheet with the heating roller 61. The upper frame 80 is located above the heating roller 61. The fan FA allows air to flow from an upper side to a lower side of the upper frame 80. The upper frame 80 includes a guide part (first guide part 81) that guides an upper surface of the sheet in the upstream of the heating roller in the conveyance direction of the sheet, and a vent hole (first vent hole 81H) provided in and vertically penetrating the guide part (first guide part 81).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
