Abstract:
To provide a foil transfer device and a foil transfer method of using a roll-state stamp transferrable to a flat surface and its other plane such as a top surface of a transfer object.SOLUTION: A foil transfer device comprises a roll-state stamp 5 forming an engraving part on a cylindrical outer peripheral surface and rotatingly driven around the axis, a heater 6 oppositely arranged around the roll-state stamp 5 and heating the rotating roll-state stamp 5, a holding table 8 for fixing a transfer object 9, a long belt-like transfer sheet 4 arranged between the roll-state stamp 5 and the holding table 8 and provided so as to be capable of traveling, a winding motor 22 for intermittently winding the transfer sheet 4 in the travel direction and a movement mechanism 7 movably provided in the horizontal direction along a transfer object surface 9a of the transfer object 9 and the vertical direction orthogonal to the transfer object surface 9a of the transfer object 9 by mounting the rotatably journaled roll-state stamp 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
