Abstract:
To provide a foil transfer unit capable of suppressing useless transport of a foil film.SOLUTION: A control part drives a transport roller (11C, 12A) so that, a sheet S is transported to a transfer position between a heating roller 61 and a compression roller 51, in a state in which, one roller (heating roller 61) is provided at a separation position separated from the other roller (compression roller 51), and a state of regulation switching means is a regulation state (transport of the foil film F is regulated). The control part moves one roller to a pressure contact position where the one roller pressure contacts the other roller, at a time point when the sheet S is at the transfer position, and before a foil transfer region TA to which a foil is transferred, reaches the transfer position, then, after one roller is provided at the pressure contact position, switches the state of the regulation switching means to a release state (regulation of transport of the foil film F is released).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
