To provide a foldable working cover which exerts an excellent function for preventing scattering of spark and chips, etc. generated when using tools for works such as polishing, grinding and cutting, while obtaining large convenience for carriage, etc., and also to obtain a sound insulation effect against collisions of spark and chips, etc.

This cover is provided with: a substantially rectangular substrate 1 wherein the tools for the works such as polishing, grinding and cutting are mounted in an upper surface region on one end side of a length direction; a vertical shielding plate 2 for preventing advancing rising spark and chips, etc. from the one side; an upper shielding plate 3 for preventing advancing spark and chips, etc. to an upper side; and a pair of horizontal shielding members 4 facing each other to prevent scattering of spark and chips, etc. in a width direction. The vertical shielding plate 2 is made rotatable by about 90° by making the other end part of the substrate 1 as a fulcrum. The upper shielding plate 3 is made rotatable by about 90° by making an upper end side of the vertical shielding plate 2 as a fulcrum. The pair of the horizontal shielding member 4 are made foldable into thin box shapes, together with the vertical shielding plate 2 and the upper shielding plate 3.
