To reduce working time and labor as much as possible in loading a wheelchair, such as a foldable wheelchair, into a trunk of a vehicle, and to improve stability and easiness of assembling in the folding and unfolding when it is loaded in the vehicle, easiness of carrying when it is folded, and sitting comfort when it is in use.

The foldable wheelchair A comprises a seat section 1 for sitting on, a front leg 2 connected rotatably to the front edge near the seat section 1 positioned in the right and left outside of the seat section 1, an upper end of it being connected rotatably to a middle part of the seat section and front edge of it being connected rotatably to a bottom end of the front leg, a pair of pantagrah-type right and left back legs B, a backrest 3 which is connected rotatably in the end of the seat section 1 and is folded in conjunction with the folding movement of the back leg B, and a pair of right and left front wheels 16 attached to the bottom of the front leg.
