Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding door capable of surely preventing a sash and another part from colliding with each other, and smoothly folding the sash.
SOLUTION: In this folding door, a steady member 80 for regulating the amount of sashes 20A, 20B folded is provided on a connecting rail 30. By this arrangement, the impact force in folding the sashes 20A, 20B and the pressing force produced when the folded sashes 20A, 20B are driven by wind are not applied to a hinge 60, so that deformation of the hinge 60 can be effectively prevented, and the run-out amount of the sashes 20A, 20B can be surely and accurately regulated by the steady member 80. Accordingly, the run-out of the sashes 20A, 20B is effectively prevented so as to prevent collision with a handle and the like, and the sashes 20A, 20B can be smoothly folded.
