Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the subject element which exhibits high luminance and luminescent efficiency, little degradation in luminescence, and a high reliability.
CONSTITUTION: At least one org. compd. of the formula [wherein A and B are each O, S, or dicyanomethyl; R1 to R8 are each H, halogen, cyano, nitro, amino, dialkylamino, diphenylamino, OH, alkoxy, mercapto, siloxy, acyl, cycloalkyl, carboxyl, sulfo, an optionally substd. aliph. or arom. hydrocarbon group, or an optionally substd. arom. heterocyclic group; and (n) is an integer of O or higher] is incorporated into an EL element at least having a phosphor between a pair of electrodes.
