Abstract:

To provide a folding method for a sheet-like member capable of folding a sheet-like member vertically and horizontally with simplicity.SOLUTION: The present folding method is a folding method for a sheet-like member S using a folding apparatus 1. The folding apparatus comprises first and second support bars 3, 4 parallel with each other. The first and second support bars are provided to flex at hinges 6, and the second support bar is provided displaceable between a high position P higher than the first support bar and a low position Q lower than that. There are comprised a hanging step that hangs the sheet-like member on a second support bar side when the second support bar is at the high position, a first folding step that displaces the second support bar to the low position and folds the sheet-like member vertically, and a second folding step that folds the vertically-folded sheet-like member horizontally.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
