Abstract:

To provide a folding type portable telephone set where reinforcing component having rigidity larger than that of an external appearance component is used for only a skeleton of folding structure, without exposing metal to external appearance, and productivity is improved.

A first cabinet includes an upper case 12 provided with a window 11 for a display, an upper substrate 13 mounting electronic components, an upper hinge frame 14 and an upper cover 15 which mounts the components. A second cabinet consists of a lower cover 22, in which a key hole 21 for installing a key operation unit is opened, a lower substrate 23 composed of PCB (printed circuit board) on which electronic components are mounted, a lower hinge frame 24, a lower case 25 which mounts the components, and the like.
