Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding roller and a folding machine capable of suppressing generation of wrinkles of a sheet to enhance quality of a signature sheet.SOLUTION: A pair of folding rollers 35, 36 creases, by pinching, a signature sheet F2, which has been formed into, from a signature sheet F1 conveyed horizontally and folded into two by a chopper blade 34 vertically moving downward. The pair of folding rollers comprises sheet holding parts 35a, 36a having a smaller diameter than that of sheet folding parts 35b, 35c, 36b, 36c, in a downstream side of a signature sheet F1 conveying direction, as lower nip pressing parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
