Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily and quickly judge a backlash, by providing a plurality of fixed members and movable members decentered against each engagement shaft by quantity corresponding to the allowable mimimum value and maximum value of the backlash.
CONSTITUTION: A first fixed member 9a fixed to a base part 13 engages an engagement shaft 10a with the penetrated hole 8a of one side of a differential case 2 of a differential gear 1, engages a spline shaft 11a with a spline hole 6a of the side bevel gear 5a of one side, abuts a flange part 12a on the outer end part of a boss part 7a and inserts the diff. case 2 into the member 9a. A first movable member 9b engages an engagement shaft 10b with the penetrated hole 8b of the other side of the diff. case 2, engages a spline shaft 11b with a spline hole 6b of the side bevel gear 5b of the other side. abuts a flange part 12b on the outer end part of a boss part 7b and inserts the differential case 2 into the member 9b. When the diff. case 2 is rotated, the gears 5a, 5b are eccentrically rotated corresponding to a backlash, and the extent of the backlash is judged.
