Abstract:
To provide a seiza stool that can be easily carried in a folding state, that can be easily spread in use, and that is strong and hardly breakable.SOLUTION: The foldable seiza stool 1 includes: a pair of bottomed open box-shaped leg parts 20 that support a load; a bisected seat part body 10 that has a seating face 12 and that also has on the opposite side from the seating face 12 a bottomed open box-shaped leg storage part 14 for storing a pair of leg parts 20; a hinge part 16 that rotatably connect the bisected seat part body 10 by a revolving shaft 18 which is situated on the opposite side from the seating face 12; and a leg shaft 22 that makes the respective leg parts 20 journaled by both ends of the seat part body 10 rotatably between the stored position and the use position. The respective seat part body 10 rotates around the axis of revolution 18 of the hinge part 16, comes into contact with each other in the use position, with a roughly flush face formed on the seating face 12, and is superposed on each other in a manner that the pair of leg parts 20 stored in the leg storage part 14 in a folding position are oppositely faced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
