PURPOSE: To provide a folding table with a simple construction, capable of easily assembling and surely maintaining the assembled state, and which is easy to fold a top plate and legs in a mutually connected state for easy carrying and easy keeping.

CONSTITUTION: A fixed bore in an approximately horizontal direction into which one upper end of a leg 20 is fitted is formed at the lower part of a top plate, and an installation bore 32 is formed at the lower part of the top plate opposite to the fixed bore, which is parallel to the fixed bore and has a little larger diameter than the fixed bore and is connected to an insertion groove 32a wherein the other upper end of the leg 20 is inserted on the under surface of the top plate. Further, a stopping pipe 40 having a larger diameter than that of the insertion groove 32a and capable of being inserted into the installation bore 32 is slidably fitted in the other upper end of the leg 20.
